Wooden clogs are de rigueur for fashionistas

Louis Vuitton clogs are apparently the latest to jump on the wooden clog trend of 2021 according to fashionistas. Clogs seem to be one of the trendiest footwear styles at the moment, bringing the wooden sandal silhouette into the spotlight through the resurgence of Crocs and luxury takes on the shoe from labels like Dior. Now, luxury giant Louis Vuitton has debuted a handful of clogs for its Spring/Summer 2021 range, and they’re a must-have for anyone looking to jump on the trend – that is if you have that sort of money to spend on wooden shoes.

Many of Louis Vuitton’s shoes start at more than $1000 per pair, we couldn’t find a price for these new clogs, but even secondhand Louis Vuitton shoes – obviously last year’s – start at around $300.

Arriving in two styles, one fully covered and one featuring a leather strap across the foot, the clog sees a classic wooden sole. Sporting a leather upper, the shoe is luxury yet ideal for day-to-day wear and arrives in three colorways including black, brown and a denim-inspired monogram print.

As for the sandal-like silhouette, it sports a LV monogrammed strap across the top, and arrives in the same black or brown hue.

If you’re looking to get your hands on the shoes, the Louis Vuitton clogs are a part of the label’s SS21 collection and will be available in-store and online.
