Virtual seminar for budding forestry workers in higher education

The Future Foresters Initiative will host the IFA/AFG’s virtual seminar Budding careers in the forest sector. This virtual seminar will provide information for students studying at universities and TAFE colleges throughout Australia to provide them with insights about how to plan a career and secure a position in forest and land management. An exciting line-up of speakers will share experiences and tips on how to get a foot in the door, how to approach a job interview in the sector and the skills required to have a successful career. The seminar will be held on 2 December 2020.

You will hear from industry leaders about the forest sector jobs of tomorrow and discuss the wide and exciting range of work that is available in contemporary forest management, science and industry.
