“This year we have more speakers and information sessions due to the continued interest and success of South Australia’s major workplace health and safety event,” Tom Phillips, Presiding Member of the SafeWork SA Advisory Committee said.

A number of sessions this year will also explain the proposed Work Health and Safety laws, already in place in several other states and currently before the South Australian Parliament.

A highlight of the week is the ever-popular Mock OHS Dispute, which follows a workplace safety case from a work setting through to its conclusion in an Industrial Court Mock Trial.

The week concludes with the presentation of the Safe Work Awards at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday, 26 October 2012.
