Illegal logging information sessions

The Australian Government will be holding public information sessions around the country to inform industry and other interested parties on the Illegal Logging Prohibition Bill 2011 that was introduced into Parliament on 23 November 2011.
These sessions may also be used to inform stakeholders of the outcomes of the Senate Standing Committee on Rural Affairs and Transport inquiry into the Illegal Logging Prohibition Bill 2011, as the Committee is due to report their findings on 8 February 2012.

Information sessions will be held in:
• Adelaide – 23 February
• Perth – 24 February
• Melbourne – 5 March
• Sydney – 5 March
• Brisbane – 6 March
