“We would also like to say a huge thank you to our sponsors, local community groups, and volunteers that helped us over the whole weekend,” the comnmittee said.

“It’s so great to see everyone enjoy themselves and to see everything come together over the weekend.

“We hope you all enjoyed the weekend, and we look forward to hosting another event next year.

“Waratah Forestry Equipment’s Aaron Marsh and team showcased their virtual simulator for spectators to have a go.

“It was a great opportunity for the young ones and older ones to see what it is like to sit in a cabin environment harvesting timber in a simulated bush setting.”

As a certification of operating the simulator each participant was rewarded with a Waratah ‘50 years’ anniversary’ cap and a Waratah pair of socks.
