When asked about his top priorities for 2017, Labor leader Bryan Green revealed he is more interested in himself than the people of Tasmania, with two of his five priorities for the year being about elections.

Notably, Mr Green failed to mention altogether the need to balance the budget, which is no surprise given Labor’s appalling financial record.

Cassy O’Connor was not much better when highlighting her priorities for the year, completely ignoring the vital areas of health and education.

Once again the Greens’ priorities are laid bare, anti-forestry and anti-tourism in national parks.

In contrast, the Premier outlined his top five priorities that will benefit all Tasmanians. We will continue to build upon the work we have started; to improve education, continue with fixing the State’s health system, supporting vulnerable Tasmanians, keeping the budget under control, and continuing to grow the economy to provide jobs for Tasmanians.
