Green Building Council invites Responsible Wood to present at seminar

Responsible Wood will present at a New Zealand Green Building Council webinar series, on 10 March 2021. The webinar titled Sustainably Sourced Engineered Wood for a Low Carbon Future will hear from panel of experts discussing the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and the future of engineered wood products. Responsible Wood CEO Simon Dorries and Marketing and Communications Officer Jason Ross will give an overview of PEFC, and sustainable architect at Scion Andrea Stocchero will tackle the question ‘can sustainably-sourced engineered wood be one of New Zealand’s shovel-ready answers for a sustainable future?’

Andrea Stocchero will also provide a lens on how building with sustainable wood can contribute towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Change mitigation while ensuring intergenerational prosperity & wellbeing.

Brad Crowley, senior manager, buildings and communities, at the NZGBC, will ask probing questions about sustainably sourced engineered wood.
