Timber Queensland is holding a seminar titled Glulam Timber: Long, Strong & Reliable on 19 November at the Victoria Park Gold Club in Herston Queensland. This is a half day seminar starting at 2.30pm with an address by Mick Stephens, CEO Timber Queensland on glulam in practice with the example of the Mon Repo Turtle Hatchery.

He is followed by Dr Andrew Magub of Kirk Architects talking on the use of glulam in timber bridge building. After a short break Harry Wall, Project Fire Consultant for Omnii, will speak on glulam and the construction code AS/NZD 1328.1: 1998.

He will be followed by Geoff Mitchell of GMA Certification.
