FSC general assembly to meet in Bali

The general assembly is FSC’s highest decision-making body, and it is traditionally held every three years, bringing together leaders and decision makers from indigenous peoples, environmentalists, businesses, and many others in FSC’s membership to discuss a responsible future for the world’s forests and the people and animals who inhabit them. Part 2 of the FSC General Assembly will take place, as a hybrid event from 9-14 October 2022 in Bali, Indonesia or you can attend virtually. Part 1 took place virtually in 2021 and the second part will take place as a hybrid event with in-person and online components.

The FSC General Assembly will take place at the Westin Hotel in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia.

FSC Members, researchers, practitioners, staff, network partners and other interested participants are invited to use the opportunity to present their ideas, research, or areas of interest through the posters which will be displayed at the event and online.

As the world faces challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and inherent social inequities, forest stewardship is more important than ever.

The 2022 FSC General Assembly will explore forest stewardship solutions as an enabler of healthy and resilient forests that create environmental, social, and economic value and benefits.
