FRAME Australia renames conference for 2014

Next year’s event will be called the Prefab Timber and Engineered Wood in Building Construction conference, quite a mouthful but according to Ezard it is more descriptive of the contents of the conference.

“This is the major national event for engineered timber and building prefabrication,” said Ezard. “It will be held on May 19-20, next year exactly a year from today.”

The national event is now in its 16th year and covers complete supply chain of structural timber, engineered wood products, prefabricated frames to the detached housing and multi-residential building market.

“It embraces the key industry sectors that are involved,” he said. “So right through from manufacturing, importing, distribution, fabrication through to building design, specification and construction and that’s the new part that we’re merging into now.”

A new flexible delegate registration system will also be in place to cater for companies or individuals who have specific interests, lack time to attend the whole event or want to reduce costs. Delegates will be able to choose to register for one, two, three or all four sessions.
