So many conversations about our resource are held in the social media space and we need to be there, advocating for our industry.

The training will cover Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. It will also provide advice about how to manage the risks of using social media. The event will be held online on 25 June 2020 from 5.30pm until 6.30pm AEST.

Kersten Gentle, FTMA Executive Officer, said: “There has never been a better time for this kind of training. It’s critically important that our industry can advocate for itself in social media forums.”

“Our argument is sensible, logical and powerful. Social media, done right, provides an additional tool to get our story out there,” Tim Johnston, VAFI CEO, said.

Stacey Gardiner, AFCA General Manager, said: “We know how important our industry is. This will help us tell our story to people outside our industry.”
