Biomass is a source of energy that has been used since the earliest times for generation of heat. In recent years, the interest in biomass has been growing worldwide as a renewable resource. In Brazil, biomass has been used in the domestic energy supply from materials like sugarcane, eucalyptus and residues. In this way, the Biomass and Bioenergy Conference – BBC BRAZIL 2018 will join students, researchers and professionals, all together to discuss the challenges of this issue.
