DesignBUILD back on in early 2022

DesignBUILD will open its doors again to the building and construction industry, returning to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 10 – 12 May 2022. The show will have a renewed focus on showcasing quality products, sustainable solutions and smart tech from some of Australia’s best, boasting a comprehensive show floor with new additions, alongside the return of popular attractions. The Design + Build Theatre will host discussions tackling the key issues and big-picture issues of the building and construction industry, while the new DCW Theatre, sponsored by NBS, will not only deep dive into and promote innovation, efficiency and connectivity for the industry, but will also be the launching pad for the UK’s foray into Australia with Digital Construction Week.

DesignBUILD is seeking industry professionals to submit papers for consideration to present in the programs.

For the first time in 2022, you’ll gain access to new markets and insights across the entire building life cycle from conception to construction and beyond. DesignBUILD will be co-locating with Total Facilities (TFX), the nation’s single most important business event for Facilities Management, and the Be Summit, a one-day conference bringing together Australia’s built environment leaders discussing the major plans and opportunities for the future of the sector.

Both events will be running their very own education programs.

The TFX program will give insight into the world of FM through the Smart Buildings Theatre, featuring industry experts discussing topics on creating smarter, more efficient buildings for the changing FM landscape.

The Be Summit will conclude the week with a one-day conference on Friday 13 May, focussing on the wider Australian built environment. The program will feature Government and market experts as they speak on the latest policies and legislation affecting the sector, the role our industry will play in economic recovery and innovations and technologies propelling the nation’s built environments into the future.

Submissions for all programs close 30 November 2021.
