Climate Change Conference to address Emissions Trading Scheme

The Asia Pacific Forest Industries Climate Change conference is a major international meeting of leaders and decision makers of the forestry industry – Government, enterprises, and trade unions – from Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe, South America and the USA.

The Asia Pacific Forest Industries Climate Change Conference presented by ForestWorks will be held on 18-20 August this year and will discuss the latest from the Garnaut Review, the Green Paper on Emissions Trading and the commencement of the Emissions Trading Scheme from 2010. The conference will also discuss the likely cost of energy in the future and the latest developments to ensure the cost of emissions is shared fair.
