Boral Timber workers unlimited paid leave to help fight fires

In a statement, Boral said it shares Australia’s heartache at the devastating bushfires across our country and thanks everyone who has been working to protect communities and support those in need.

The company said that it is proud of its people who have provided significant acts of kindness and community support. Their generous actions and assistance have enabled the company to supply water carts, equipment and water to fire-stricken areas.

Boral is especially grateful for the tireless work of all Boral employees in Australia who are volunteer firefighters and will receive unlimited paid leave while they support their local communities.

The company is also supporting the Red Cross so that they can help fire-affected communities and will be working with Conservation Volunteers Australia rebuild devastated animal habitats.
