Bodrum based company SCA Yachting has announced plans to construct a 40-metre motor sailing yacht. Born out of a thoughtful collaboration between SCA Yachting’s in-house team and the owner, Boa Kingdom boasts naval architecture from the drawing board of Fuat Turan. Focused on the environmental and fatigue resistant benefits of laminated wood, SCA Yachting has partnered with Çavuşoğlu Shipyard to complete this project.

“Wood is the most environmentally friendly option and does not harm the health of people on board,” Cenk Avdan, founder of the Turkey based business explained. “At SCA Yachting, we will continue to support wood as our material of choice.”

Accommodating up to 12 guests onboard, the 345 GT superyacht Boa Kingdom will have an abundance of space for guests to take advantage of. Personalised to the owner’s taste, a key design feature of the motor sailing yacht will be her luxurious Jacuzzi on the bow.

Continuing her theme of relaxation, Boa Kingdom will be home to a 16-metre swimming platform and feature an 84-square-metre flybridge, allowing guests to embrace stunning views in style.

In terms of performance, Boa Kingdom will be equipped with twin 550 horsepower Volvo engines, allowing her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 15 knots.
