Now in its fourth year, the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards organised by Intergrain Timber Finishes are designed to celebrate the innovative use of timber in residential and commercial projects.

This year’s categories include Exterior Residential, Interior Residential, Exterior Commercial and Interior Commercial.

According to Intergrain Brand Manager, Krystal Brabham, the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards aim to highlight the great work of industry professionals in pushing the boundaries of timber design.

This year’s awards will focus on projects that move away from traditional timber applications, exuding creativity and style, while demonstrating the significant role timber plays in architectural design.

A judging panel including 2012 Commercial Exterior winner – Hamish Lyon, Principal and Design Director at NH Architecture (VIC); Virginia Kerridge, Principal of Virginia Kerridge Architect (NSW); Cameron Bruhn, Editorial Director at Architecture Media (VIC) and Douglas Curr, Dulux Specification & Project Services Consultant, will evaluate the entries.

Winners will receive a $2000 cash prize plus Intergrain product to the value of $5000, while also gaining industry exposure with a feature in the November edition of Architecture Australia.

Entries close on June 28, 2013. The winners will be announced in August at the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards Breakfast to be held in Melbourne.
