Woodcraft is more than just a ‘whittle’ industry

A new study into the Tasmanian woodcraft sector has found that more than 2000 people are directly employed in the industry.

The study was commissioned by Forestry Tasmania and the Woodcraft Guild Tasmania Inc., and conducted by consultants Creating Preferred Futures. It has provided comprehensive information on the scope and significance of the State’s woodcraft industry.
