WA forests to protect Aboriginal heritage

Recent changes to state land management laws require the Government to protect Aboriginal cultural heritage values in national parks, conservation reserves and state forests.

The South-West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council will outline the cultural values, including sacred sites in state forests, and the DEC will discuss how it is planning to protect them.
