WA breakfast for women in forestry and timber

The WFTN would like to invite any women involved in the forest and timber industries, including haulage, furniture making and wood processing to attend.

The aim of the WFTN is to support women in the industry and to improve recognition of women and engage with them as well as to provide access to professional development opportunities.

Guest speakers on the day are Melissa Haslam – executive director, Forest Industries Federation of WA and Kerry Chadfield – human resources/administration supervisor, Albany Plantation Export Company.

Men with an interest in the challenges and achievements facing women in the industry are also welcome.

The WFTN is a national forum for women and is hosted by ForestWorks on behalf of the whole industry.

The event starts at 7.30am and will be held at the Three Anchors function room at Middleton Beach, the cost is $30.
