  1. 626,781 bdmt – woodchip exports in August 2019, up 40.2% on the prior month, but just 1.4% higher than August 2018
  2. 34.0% – hardwood chip exports in August totaled 551,121 bdmt, up more than one third on the prior month
  3. USDFob150.88/bdmt – in August 2019, Australia’s woodchip exports were at their lowest monthly average price for 2019
  4. Softwood log exports down – Australia’s exports totaled 256,475 m3 in August 2019, the lowest monthly volume over the last year
  5. 41,677 m3 – Dressed Sawn Softwood imports in August 2019, with roughsawn imports totalled 10,216 m3 for the month
