“The conference is presented by the National Timber Councils Association, the national peak body for local government with timber interests,” National Coordinator Sandy Kam said.

“We have a great selection of presenters, covering a range of topics such as resource security, proposed infrastructure funding project, Wood Encouragement Policy,” National President Dale Harriman said.

“We also have Joel Fitzgibbon speaking on the ALP’s plans regarding the future of the forest and timber industry, how they are planning to support the maintenance and growth of the timber industry as well as freight infrastructure funding support, and Ross Hampton, CEO of AFPA, presenting on the upcoming National Forest Plan.”
