Members of the Tumut community can access information sessions and campus tours designed to showcase state-of-the-art facilities and course offerings available.

The TAFE NSW Tumut team will be on hand to offer career advice, with opportunities to meet the teachers and chat with inspiring graduates now working in their chosen field.

“TAFE NSW offers over 1200 courses in a range of critical areas in-demand from industry and provides students with the training they need to secure a job,” TAFE NSW Regional General Manager, Kerry Penton said.

“At TAFE NSW, students can study when, where and what they want and are supported by a talented community of career advisors, counsellors and teachers.”

The campus will be open daily from 8.30am to 5pm and campus tours will be conducted throughout the week on demand.

Guests will also be treated to a free barbecue lunch from 12pm to 2pm on Tuesday, 16 January.

The NSW Government provides significant subsidies for a range of courses at TAFE NSW, ensuring students can undertake the studies they need to upskill or find a new job, without having to graduate with a huge debt.

For those who can’t attend, signature events from around the state will be live-streamed to the TAFE NSW Facebook page throughout the week, with extended hours and extra activities for TAFE Tuesday at select campuses.

TAFE NSW Enrolment Week 2017 attracted more than 10,000 attendees to 1,300 events, with a further 26,000 people watching online via Facebook Live events.
