State of Origin kicks off with Wood Preservation 2012

Wood Preservation 2012 kicks off with the Harvey Norman State of Origin Rugby League Series at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium on 23rd May.
Last run in April 2009, this year’s programme runs in Melbourne on 23-24 May 2012.
As an extra for those attending the Wood Preservation 2012 event this year the organisers in conjunction with local industry have added a rugby bonus to the two-day programme.
The 2011 State of Origin series was one of the best ever. The 2012 series is also expected to be fiercely contested. Wood Preservation 2012 hopes to harness the energy and excitement.
Instead of a conference dinner on the first night of the Melbourne event, Wood Preservation 2012 delegates will instead be going to the game.
“From all our programmes that we run for Australasian wood products companies we’re told that networking is an essential part of events like this” said Forestry Industry Engineering Association Director Brent Apthorp.
“What better way is there for those involved in wood treatment about Australia to get-together after a full day of technology updates?”
Block bookings of 70 seats have been reserved for the event.
Organisers suggest those looking to take part should move fast.
Tickets will be allocated on first-come, first-served basis.
Only one ticket per delegate can be booked.
To save a space, register for Wood Preservation 2012 early.
Programme details can be found at www.woodpreservationevents.com and TPAA members receive discounts off all conference registration rates.
