SP’s latest is set to make head-lines

The SP 661 LF is the latest design from SP – the company has been a manufacturer and distributor of forestry equipment and attachments since 1968.

“It’s a compact and strong high performance harvester head designed according to SP ́s Low Friction (LF) principle for minimum friction and maximum productivity,” Mr Randalls said.

LF minimises the friction during feeding, maximising the harvester head’s performance and production. The low friction also minimises damage to the trunk, wear on the harvester head and fuel consumption.

In total LF comprises four smart systems that help to minimise friction and maximise production.

The LF harvester heads have a low weight in relation to their capacity, and their compact design means that they can also be maneuvered easily in dense stands.

The SP 661 LF is designed to offer the highest productivity in small and large diameter thinnings.
