The engine has about 20hp more power than before, now 140kW. The machine’s cooling system has been developed further. It has a larger capacity and the machine has an electrically operated viscous switch as standard.

Thanks to the upgrades, the machine is particularly quiet.

Maintenance of the new engine is much easier and faster than before, as the Stage 5 engine has hydraulic valve lifters, eliminating the need for time-consuming valve clearance adjustments.

All changes to the model have been made based on feedback from customers and dealers. The 30-liter DEF tank is now plastic and is housed in a refurbished front cover on the right side of the machine with the refuelling cap larger and the cap attachment is threaded, which makes refuelling easier and it is less prone to leaks.

The machine’s hydraulics have also been improved, and the existing Parker 220 blocks will be used as the crane’s valve block.

A much-anticipated innovation for the 5F GT forwarder, is the Logset Smooth Ride cab suspension, previously just available on larger Logset forwarders. The Smooth Ride system has been praised for significantly improving driver ergonomics.
