Pryda specification guide for floor and rafter trusses

Pryda has released its latest specification guide for floor and rafter trusses – an extensive design manual developed specifically for design and construction audiences.

The new guide covers all design considerations and factors affecting floor performance and explains the benefits of timber web Pryda Longreach and metal web Pryda Span floor trusses.

All stability requirements for the design and construction of floor trusses are explained in the guide. It has tables throughout to aid in factors such as beam selection, duct spacing design and design for imposed loads.

Building designers can choose from an extensive library of design detail that covers:
• End types (with images available for download from the website for plan input)
• Internal walls
• External walls
• Floor set down
• Ducts for mechanical services
• Cantilevers
• Strong backs

There also is an extensive range of span tables at the rear of the guide. Hard copies are available from Pryda by calling 1800 810 741 or available for download from www.pryda.com.au
