PrefabAUS challenges the status quo at Sydney breakfast event

The future of the construction industry is in an exciting state of change as innovative prefab technologies challenge conventional construction methodologies and the status quo.

Passionate about the role of prefabrication in transforming our built environment, prefabAUS is creating a new manufacturing base centered on 21st century construction innovation and quality.

PrefabAUS is assembling experts from within the industry to evaluate traditional perceptions and review how prefabricated technology can work collectively to transform our built environment and turn the the construction industry on its head.

Peter Davis, University of Newcastle Professor of Construction Management, will introduce an Industry and Academic alliance, via which he will illustrate how innovation, collaboration and best practice can create a competitive local advantage for the off-site manufacturing sector.

Independent Industry Advisor, David Chandler OAM, will present a metaphorical argument that undermines our preconceptions of cranes.

Rather than a barometer used to observe the level of activity in the construction industry, David will argue cranes are instead indicative of a lack of optimisation, contribution and project overheads that are unsustainable.
