The industry will recognize:
• Modern Apprentice of the Year – Forestry
• Modern Apprentice of the Year – Wood Manufacturing
• Modern Apprentice of the Year – Furniture
• Trainee of the Year – Forestry
• Trainee of the Year – Wood Manufacturing
• Trainee of the Year – Furniture (entries close on June 13)
• Training Company of the Year – Forestry
• Training Company of the Year – Wood Manufacturing
• Training Company of the Year – Furniture
• Health and Safety Initiative
• Outstanding Business Performance through People Development
• FITEC Training Leader of the Year

FITEC is conducting the awards process, as it is a major industry training organization for forestry, wood, furniture and biosecurity sectors and so covers all the award divisions.

WoodEXPO 2013, which is to be held in September in Rotorua at the Rotorua Events Centre, will act as the award presentations point.
