This event will provide an excellent opportunity to network with high level speakers from leading organizations and will include presentations that represent every aspect of the industry’s product chain.

Top RISI economists will present their two-year forecasts for the pulp, paper, wood and timber markets.

Some of this year’s RISI speakers include: Kurt Schaefer, vice president fiber who has more than 17 years of experience with the company. He leads RISI’s analysis of the pulp and recovered paper segments of the industry, specializing in papergrade pulp.

Peter Barynin, principal economist, Global, North American Timber has more than 20 years of experience in the forest industry, his specialties include natural resource price modeling, forest industry and timber markets, and international trade.

Esko Uutela has more than 30 years’ experience in the global paper market, and his expertise lies in the tissue and recovered fiber markets. After working nearly 18 years for a large forest industry consulting company, Mr Uutela established EU Consulting, his own consulting company.

David Katnelson, director macroeconomics has more than 15 years market experience in the financial industry, including over a decade as a trader for boutique hedge funds and brokerages in New York and Boston. Mr katnelson is responsible for collecting, analyzing, forecasting, and communicating macroeconomic data and its relevance to clients throughout the forest product industry.
