Dr Peter Volker, Chief Forest Practices Officer & Director (FPA) said: “Tim leaves the FPA with my best wishes and thanks for the work he has done with the FPA over the nine years he has been here (seven as an ecologist in the Biodiversity team and two as compliance manager).

“He has accepted a position that suits his skills and is a career development opportunity and his last day with the FPA will be Friday, 4 August.

“An advertisement will be placed in the major newspapers within the next fortnight as the FPA seeks to fill this very important position as quickly as possible.

“In the meantime I will seek to appoint a person to assist the compliance management team on a temporary basis as the program of investigations, audits and advice needs to continue with little interruption,” said Dr Volker.
