Mark Crotty takes on the new GM trade role, bringing experience in the trade sector with companies such as CSR Timber, Mitre 10 and Porta Moulding.

General manager of the Home Timber and Hardware Group, Mark Burrowes said the key element in introducing a new trade executive management position was growth.

“We are firmly committed to maximising opportunities for our independent retailers and company stores, and Mark will provide the strategic focus for this area of our business,” said Mr Burrowes.

“One of the first deliverables will be the establishment of a Trade Advisory Council (TAC) for Danks – incorporating a mix of company stores and franchisee representatives to review, develop and implement a new trade model consistent with our strategic business direction.”

Crotty brings leadership experience and in-depth knowledge of sales, marketing, operations and financial management across the timber, building and construction field.
