Entries are now open in eight categories for any business, community group, organisation or individual with a commitment to sustainability.

Architects, builders and engineers who have demonstrated leadership in sustainability are being encouraged to enter under a revised category ‘Infrastructure and Buildings’.

The criteria is defined as ‘Excellence in contribution to innovative design, construction/delivery and/or operation of sustainable infrastructure and buildings; whether it is a new structure or re-imagining of existing form’.

Winner of the Built Environment Design category in the 2012 awards was the Cape Paterson Ecovillage project.

“Entering and winning this award has given the Cape Paterson Ecovillage project much needed exposure and has generated a lot of interest,” said director Brendan Condon.

Entries close at 2pm Monday July 15.
