ForestrySA Board Chairperson June Roache has been reappointed for another term to lead the state’s forest management authority. “Ms Roache’s breadth of corporate knowledge has been invaluable to ForestrySA, overseeing the commercial and recreational management of the state’s forests in the Mount Lofty Ranges region and the recreational management of the Green Triangle forest estate,” said Minister Whetstone.

“Her input in leading ForestrySA has been of great benefit to South Australia’s $2.3 billon forest industry and the regional communities that support it.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Ms Roache to further develop and grow this important primary industry sector.”

Originally appointed to the ForestrySA Board in September 2013, Ms Roache has been the independent non-executive chair since 1 January 2018.

In addition to her role on the ForestrySA Board, she is a commissioner of the Essential Services Commission of South Australia and a Board Member of the History Trust of SA.

The ForestrySA Board is the governing body of the South Australian Forestry Corporation (trading as ForestrySA). Members are appointed by the Governor.

In addition to Ms Roache’s other ForestrySA Board comprises Mr Grant Pelton and Mr Tim Stollznow.
