Eildon is a new seat taking in areas of Yarra Ranges, Upper Yarra, Healesville, Yea, Alexandra, Marysville, Mansfield and the Central Highlands.
Friends of Forestry has given strong backing to Mr Child who they see as a strong advocate of the timber industry, business investment, tourism, and most importantly jobs for all.
The Nationals deserve high praise for identifying Mr Child as an ideal candidate to carry the ‘voice of regional communities’ into the Victorian Parliamentary arena, a Friends of Forestry official statement said.
