I’m a lumberjack, but not okay

Careers in mathematics, technology and health care top the list.

Dwindling job opportunities in the logging industry and a move to a more digital platform put lumberjacks and newspaper reporters at the bottom.

The report rates 200 jobs from “best” to “worst” by taking into account four “core criteria,” including environment, income, outlook and stress.

A range of sub-categories includes physical and emotional components of the work environment. The lower the overall score the better.

CareerCast.com reports that it used data from the US Department of Labor and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, plus other government agencies, trade associations and private survey firms.
