The design of the suits has been inspired by midcentury designs and, made from birch plywood, the cards are handsome to the touch as well as to look at.
But if you’re bored of games of whist or black jack, each card has also been given slots so they can fit together and build new structures.
It’s this that is described as “a loving wink to the work of Ray and Charles Eames” probably referencing their 1952 House of Cards design for kids that has since inspired other products.
The cards come in their own wooden box for safekeeping and because they’re made from plywood, they should get only more handsome looking over time.
