Help beta test a new farm forestry tool

A new tool is now available for beta testing by Tasmanian farmers. The Farm Forestry Carbon Tool is designed for landowners to find out within just minutes an indicative estimate of their carbon impact and the potential tree offset opportunities. Source: Timberbiz

The tool is simple in nature, is designed to be a conversation starter and not compete with more in-depth carbon calculators.

To get started:

Visit https://ashy-pond-0d19a1300.1.azurestaticapps.net/input;farmType=stock

Enter your land details

Slide the bar to see what impact trees would have on your calculation

Provide feedback via [email protected]

The Farm Forestry Carbon tool was created by the Tasmania Forestry Hub in collaboration with Private Forests Tasmania. The tool was developed by Indicium.

Landowners are encouraged to test the tool and provide feedback by sending an email to [email protected]

Feedback will help ensure the tool is functioning as expected.

The Hub and PFT hope to receive feedback from about 100 farmers before officially launching the tool.
