ForestWorks feedback wanted on draft project outlines

ForestWorks is currently preparing two project outline documents called ‘Cases for Change’ for which they are seeking input. Source: Timberbiz

Feedback is sought to guide the need for projects to develop skills and training products in the following areas: loading and unloading large timber components, and safety leadership and risk management.

These Cases for Change emerged as the top priority skill listed in last year’s IRC Skills Forecasts and Proposed Schedule of Work (2017-2020).

ForestWorks is seeking feedback to guide them on the development of projects and whether the project outlines accurately describe industry skills needs and knowledge gaps within training materials.

Feedback is open until Wednesday 28 March 2018.

After they incorporate feedback, the Case for Change will be submitted to the Australian Industry Skills Committee (AISC) for their consideration.

Once approved by the AISC, the Case for Change will form the basis of a project to review and develop relevant Units of Competency.
