Eye to stopping accidents

NEW SAFETY glasses are designed to recognise when a truck driver is falling asleep. Source: TimberBiz
The aim of the iDriveALERT glasses is to prevent accidents that arise from drivers falling asleep behind the wheel. Vibrations and fatigue alarms are activated when the drivers head nods forward due to drowsiness. The alarm is sounded through the built-in earphones to alert the driver in time so that a rest break can be taken. The glasses can also be used for communication, as the Bravo version Bluetooth glasses can be paired with any Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or CB radio. The glasses do not distract the driver in any way as they are totally hands-free. To turn on the Bluetooth feature the driver simply presses the Bluetooth button on the glasses.
