And can be configured to include the 2016 World Conference on Timber Engineering in Vienna, Austria.

Running from 28 August to 3 September, the tour promises five days and six nights of inspiration, information and fun, from Vienna, Austria to Zurich, Switzerland for only $3850 share accommodation (asingle supplement is available for $800).

You will join a group of architects, engineers, developers and building professionals visiting landmark projects and meeting some of the people behind them.

Your tour leader will be Andrew Dunn, timber engineer and CEO of the Timber Development Association.

You will enjoy travelling in absolute comfort on board a luxury coach and stay in carefully selected 4-Star hotels in beautiful locations set among the scenic beauty of lakes, mountains, architectural and music history. Where possible we plan to stay in CLT constructed hotels.

Our small tour group will visit high profile projects and meet some of the building professionals behind them – people you could not usually access.

Buildings will include structures under construction as well as completed projects and a visit to a glulam and CLT plant.

In addition, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet with inspirational architects, engineers, academics, fabricators and contractors. Listen to their stories and gain from their knowledge.

Travel five days between Vienna to Zurich on a luxury coach through the very heart of timber use. Cities visited include Vienna, Wels, Salzburg and Zurich as well as the Austrian Alps.

The tour is from Sunday 28 August 2016 to Friday 2 September 2016 (Zurich) includes accommodation that night. It is limited to 25 only and spaces will be allocated in order of receipt of deposit.
