After 14 years as editor at Ryan Media (Australian Forests & Timber News, Australasian Timber, Daily Timber News) John Hudswell is finishing on 7 June 2019. I have worked closely with John for the past seven years while writing and producing Daily Timber News and I will be very sad to see him retire, as I am sure everyone will in the forestry and timber industry. We wish him all the best for future.
The new editor, Bruce Mitchell, comes with a background as a reporter and editor in print media across three states, for publications ranging from metropolitan dailies, to specialist publications and magazines within the rural sector.
Originally from Casterton in Western Victoria, Bruce has most recently held senior positions at The Advertiser in Adelaide and the Stock Journal.
