Climate change agenda to be outlined

NEW AUSTRALIAN Climate Change Minister Greg Combet will discuss Australia’s forward climate change agenda with delegates at Expo 2010 in Melbourne 11-13 October. Senior departmental officials will also be on-hand to discuss the new Government’s plans.
Victorian Climate Change Minister Gavin Jennings, and Treasurer John Lenders will also outline key new Victorian Government climate change initiatives.
The three Government Ministers will be joined by the leading international and domestic carbon business players to discuss the latest developments in establishing carbon price signals to drive the investment and technologies that will transition Australia and the world to a low-carbon economy.
