Building relationships is what it’s all about

Manitou Australia’s new industrial products and key account manager is a firm believer that building relationships is what business is all about.

Noel Sked joins Manitou Australia from Manitou’s South African subsidiary where he was area sales manager – industrial forklifts.

“My new role in Australia will be to support the dealers with product knowledge and getting back to our customers. Building relationships is what this business is all about. My first task is to meet the Manitou family of dealers and develop a new level of passion for the company. This is a passion that has stood the test of time for over 50 years and by being the number one rough terrain telescopic handling company in the world,” Sked said.

He had previously been associated with Bridgestone Tyres, Steelbro Sidelifters, Ferrari Container Handlers and Clark Forklifts, as well as retail sales.

“I have been in the selling profession for over 15 years, six of which have been in the industrial forklift industry including direct selling and rental sides.

“Manitou’s South African subsidiary exposed me to Manitou’s ‘family values’ and wide range of products,” he said.
