Bioenergy Australia 2010 conference – Early Bird registration closes 29 October

The Bioenergy Australia 2010 Conference to be held at the Novotel Manly Pacific, Sydney from 9 – 10 December 2010, with the technical tour on 8 December 2010, is now open for registration. The Early Bird discounted registration closes this week.

We have recently had confirmation that the prominent Federal independent MP, Tony Windsor will be the dinner speaker and that the Hon. Tony Kelly, NSW Minister for Planning, Minister for Infrastructure & Minister for Lands will provide the conference opening address.

The conference will incorporate sessions from IEA Bioenergy Task 39 ‘commercialising liquid biofuels from biomass’ and also incorporate algae sessions convened with Prof. Michael Borowitzka of the Algae Research Centre, Murdoch University. The program will include over 105 presentations spanning the entire spectrum of bioenergy. Last year we had 340+ delegates and expect a similarly good attendance this year.

Please find attached the conference registration brochure, which includes the provisional program and other details. This is also available on the Bioenergy Australia webpage. Please note that the technical tour numbers are limited, so I encourage you to register early, as this will be on a first-come-first-served basis. The early bird registration date is 29 October 2010 – so please register before then to take advantage of the discounted rates.

Online registration may be made via the secure web site if you are paying by Visa/Mastercard/American Express: https://secure.conferenceaction.com.au/ei/getdemo.ei?id=567&s=_1JS0MUYK3

Hoping your will be able to attend the conference!
