Timber flooring represents 25 per cent of the flooring market and companies operating in the industry need to keep abreast of the latest product developments and trends.

Opening the series will be Boral Timber Executive General Manager, Stephen Dadd speaking on “The Australian Hardwood Industry in today’s Flooring Market”.

ATFA’s David Hayward will present “The Changing World of Timber Flooring” seminar covering aspects that need to be considered when laying this type of flooring.

Also joining the Seminar Series will be Peter Eynaud from Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) with his seminar on “Consumer Guarantees & Warranties against Defects”. He will describe what arrangements the ACCC has put in place for businesses that have difficulty complying with requirements.

Closing the Series will be Jacki Mitchell from brand agency, Brandstorm. In this seminar you will learn how to leverage your brand for effective business growth.

Each seminar runs for approximately one hour and tickets are $44 (inc GST). Pre-booking is essential and tickets can be purchased online at flooringandfinishes.com.au

Flooring & Finishes with AFTA will be co-located for the first time alongside Furnitex and Decoration + Design which runs from 19 – 22 July 2012 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
