Adelaide timber show announces special guests

Adelaide Timber and Working with Wood Show organisers are pleased to announce that Richard Vaughan, Richard Raffan and Stan ‘the Man’ Ceglinski will be presenting interactive seminars, workshops, live woodwork demonstrations and entertaining the crowds at this years show.

Richard Vaughan – An enthusiastic and entertaining advocate of the joys of working with wood, Richard will be hosting a series of daily seminars that draw from over 30 years of practical experience inwoodworking and furniture making.

A popular presenter, Richards “Good Woodwork” series of seminars will be standing room only!

Richard Raffan – Is widely regarding as one of the world’s finest wood turners having had a major influence on woodturning since the 1970’s. Richards’ work is found in private and public collections throughout Europe North America, Japan and Australasia. This is a rare chance to see one of the world’s best known woodworkers in action.

Stan ‘the Man’ Ceglinski – some say this skilled Mullumbimby Craftsman is so passionate about timber that he has sap in his veins. And whilst you might wonder what catching and smoking fish, marital advice or giving tips on child rasing all have to do with woodworking (and quite frankly so do we) Stan is the real deal.

A regular attraction at the Timber and Working with Wood show, Stan conducts a series of highly entertaining traditional woodworking demonstrations. Witness the great cross cut saw race and other death defying feats as Stan hacks, whacks, splits, shapes and sends wood chips flying.
