AFCA driver wellbeing program dates for Tasmania & Queensland

The Professional Ownership and Driver Wellbeing Program sessions are back on the road after the Covid-19 shutdown, with opening sessions in Queensland and Tasmania. The sessions will be in Maryborough, Launceston, Hobart and Burnie in March. Source: Timberbiz

The 2.5-hour sessions are free for drivers, management and staff within the forest industry due to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) allocating $140K of heavy vehicle safety funding in July 2019 to AFCA to support the program through the 2019 Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative, supported by the Federal Government.

The dates are:

  • Maryborough Friday 12 March at 2pm
  • Launceston Monday 22 March 9am and 1pm
  • Burnie Tuesday 23 March 9am and 1pm
  • Hobart Thursday 25 March 9am and 1pm

Places are limited so email [email protected] to secure a place asap. Further details including venue locations will be emailed on registration.

Other states and locations will be announced soon.

Please note due to the ongoing uncertainty and border restrictions the dates and times may change with short notice.
