Publications: Ryan Media produces the forest and timber industry’s longest-running magazines, Australian Forests & Timber News and Australian Timberman. It also publishes Australian Forests & Timber Directory, The Australian & New Zealand Olivegrower & Processor and the award-winning Australian and New Zealand Olive Industry Directory.

Operations: Ryan Media is a family-owned specialist industry news and information company based in Adelaide, South Australia. We also have Victorian offices in Surrey Hills, Victoria, Wangaratta, Myrtleford and Mansfield in north east Victoria, and Healesville in the Yarra Valley.

Internet: Ryan Media powers the industry portal websites timberbiz.com.au and olivegrower.com.au and publishes online newsletters Daily Timber News and Friday Olive Extracts.

Book Publishing: Ryan Media is a retailer of forests, timber and olivegrowing books, thus providing comprehensive information resources to both industries.

Contract Publishing: Ryan Media acts as a contract publisher for a number of industry clients including AUSTimber and Olives New Zealand. It can provide promotional material and exhibition previews for commercial and industry organisations.

Print Design Services: The Groups print design division provides high quality and creative design services to a range of rural industry clients including marketing material for conferences, seminars, newsletters and logo design.

History: Ryan Media as a division of Provincial Press Group, is part of a fourth generation family regional publishing company which dates back to regional newspapers operated by WT Higgins at Wangaratta in 1937. The Higgins family involvement continues with Edward Higgins who is CEO of the newspapers division. The Group employs over 90 staff in South Australia and Victoria.

Industry Support: Ryan Media is proud to be part of the Australian and New Zealand industries we publish to. We support organisation’s events and industry groups to ensure we are giving back to the industries of which we are an integral part. Sponsorship and media support are a part of our business aims. Our financial and media support enables industry organisations and events to gain maximum, promotion and publicity.

In 2008 the Australian Forests & Timber News was the official media partner for AusTimber and has been reappointed to the same role for AUSTimber2012. The Australian & New Zealand Olivegrower & Processor has a long history of supporting olive associations and events. In 2008 it became the official publication of Olives New Zealand and has special publication arrangements with Olives New Zealand members.
